1990
The business was officially launched on 1 August 1990 in the buildings of Produco on the Oosterzelesteenweg in Wetteren. The activity of Gimall Plants was mostly limited to buying and selling Belgian ornamental plants. These products were mainly exported to France and England.

1995
Due to a continuous growth in turnover during the first years, the rented surface of 500 m² soon expanded to 1800 m², the number of co-workers doubled, products were imported from other countries and new export markets opened up.

2002
Thanks to the efforts of all co-workers and the cooperation of all partners, a new complex (4000 m²) was opened on 23 August 2002 in Lochristi, the ornamental plant centre par excellence. Thanks to this new infrastructure Gimall Plants can meet the needs of its customers to a maximum extent.

2008
Due to the steady purchase growth on the dutch market, a new company was established: Gimall Plants NL bv. With our own pitch and corresponding offices nearby Flora Holland Naaldwijk, we are able to offer our customers an even more extended range of plants. more info at www.gimallplants.nl
